Moku Manu and Nanahoa at Sunrise

The rising sun warms the offshore islands of Moku Manu and Nanahoa off the Hana Coast of Mau'i where seabirds nest. An indigenous 'Iwa, the Great Frigate Bird (Fregata minor palmerstoni), hovers overhead before heading out to fish for the day.
