I love to hike and kayak to the remote wild
places of Hawai'i. Each weekend, you can find me climbing
the mountains to visit unique native Hawaiian ecosystems.
While I enjoy taking landscape photos of these
difficult-to-reach places, my favorite thing to do is to
take close-up shots of diminutive things on the trail that
are easily overlooked. I love to capture on film the incredible
beauty of small plants, animals, and other interesting things
I see at these magnificent places.
It is my intent for these photos to motivate
you to visit these fascinating ecosystems and give you a
reason to support the conservation efforts to protect these
vanishing places for future generations.
